Courtney & David - Harry Potter Themed Wedding

Courtney & David had one of the most memorable weddings I have ever been apart of!  The theme of the wedding was Harry Potter and they went all out to give their guests the feel of the Wizarding World for their wedding.  Let's start with the wedding party.  Each bridesmaid and groomsmen were apart of the different houses of Hogwarts.  Each couple had outfit accessories dedicated to Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin.  The other 2 bridesmaids had clothing that were from the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and the Durmstrang Institute for Magical Learning.  Shortly after the bridesmaids cast a Stupify spell on the groomsmen they got attacked by dementors!  Unfortunately, the bridesmaid from Ravenclaw did fall victim to one of the dementors.

Then there was the decor....Good Lord the decor!  As you enter the reception there was a sign next to the Sorting Hat that told guests where to sit and guests also had to sign in to the Ministry of Magic table.  The Sorting Hat sign would tell you if you sat at Herbology, Potions, Care for Magical Creatures, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Divination, the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, or Dumbledore's Office.  Each table had its own unique centerpiece dedicated to that class or setting in Harry Potter.  

Then there are the cosplayers!  5 characters from the Harry Potter movies showed up to take pictures with guests.  The 5 characters in attendance for Courtney & David's wedding were Bellatrix Lestrange, Professor Severus Snape, Dolores Umbridge, and from Fantastic Beasts were Newt and Tina.  Of course, Bellatrix did not enjoy a sappy wedding.

As everyone celebrated their wedding, guests could kick back and order an Espresso Patronum.  Everything turned out beautifully and everyone partied late into the night!  What an incredibly fun wedding to shoot!
